A blogger from Chelyabinsk managed to open the 2012 Skoda Superb release from the secondary market for only 609 000 rubles. Careful inspection of the car revealed the whole truth about the tempting price.
In the review of Sergey Avtopoisk74, the author said that the Skoda Superb vendor, with 98,000 km of mileage, promised that the car was in good condition and even underwent a thorough diagnosis from the official dealer.
It was claimed that the business class Skoda Superb is equipped with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission with a standard Bluetooth audio system, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control and other useful options. The first impression – the car is more or less reliable and does not have the highest fuel consumption.
But the inspection of the automotive blogger was disappointing. Initially, switching the gearbox steps takes place with a small stroke and a slowdown. Then it turned out that the steering wheel's multimedia control of this Skoda Superb is absent: the steering wheel volume buttons do not work and you can control the audio system directly from the front panel.
A remarkable effort had to be made by the blogger who just opened the hood, and then it turned out he could not even get inside. The inspection of the thickness of the paint showed that one wing of the Skoda Superb was changed. Behind the right wing the author found a damage to the screed and, when checking the side members, found a disability. Then the observer doubted the airbags, noting that "after such blows in which the wounds suffer, usually the pillows change."
The wheels were in acceptable condition, but the tire was covered with cracks. In addition, the whole car was covered with very small dents and scratches on the doors, the trunk, the roof. A similar set of drawbacks makes the author conclude that Skoda is so cheap just because the car is "broken".
