Exchange rates continued to rise collectively against the pound at the banks early in trading on Wednesday.
The Akhbar Al-Youm website publishes exchange rates against the Egyptian pound at banks operating in the local market.
The price of the euro rose by around £ 18.49 per purchase and £ 18.63 per sale, while the price of sterling was around £ 20.07 per purchase and £ 20.24 per sale.
The Swiss franc price went up to £ 16.89 for a purchase, £ 17.05 for a sale, and a price of £ 100 for about £ 15.50 for a purchase and £ 15.67 for a sale.
Exchange rates have been diverging from high to low in the past, according to the supply and demand mechanism, followed by banks operating in the domestic market, after the Egyptian pound to foreign currency rates were fully liberalized.
