Real Madrid offers Neymar's "fictional" salary

Real Madrid have offered Brazilian star Neymar 200 million euros for five seasons, according to Spanish media on Saturday.

Spanish newspaper Sport, president of the Royal Club Florentino Perez, plans to sign Neymar for five seasons by 2024 for an annual salary of 40 million euros.

If that happens, Neymar will be the second highest paid player in the world after Argentine star Lionel Messi, captain of Barcelona.

A Spanish newspaper close to Barcelona said a few days ago that Real Madrid are offering 120m euros and approval for transfer of Croatian player Luka Modric to the French club in return for Neymar's signing.

Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain two years ago, for a record deal worth € 222 million and a Brazilian contract with the Paris club until the end of June 2022.
