Wall Street is bleeding while investors seek safe havens
Shares in the United States fell today as investors sought out secure assets from gold and government bonds amid concerns of a China-US trade war for global growth.
At 14:36 GMT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1.15% to 25 729.54, while the Standard & Poor's 500 fell 1.09% to 2850.32.
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.32% to 7,808.53 points.
