Big winner of 2nd prize for African talent with three awards: Sidiky Diabata becomes the most awarded young artist in the history of Mali



The second edition of the African Talent Awards was won by Malian musician Sidiky Diabate. He won three awards, including the Grand Prix.

The organizers of this event, which promotes Africa's top achievements, awarded in more than 28 categories, 570 artists from 24 continental countries were nominated this evening.

Maliki International Artist Sidiky Diabate won three trophies with flying colors. This is the price of Africa, the "Most Beautiful Voice" and the Grand Prix trophy.

The year 2018 is fruitful for Sidiki Diabaté. In February, in Paris, he received "The Victories of Music" with Lamomali, in the "World Music" category, with -M, Toumani and Fatoumata Diawara.

Sidiky Diabate is imperial. On April 27, the Malian singer won the Best Western African Artist award at Kunde 2018 in Ouagadougou (Burkina). He won against his opponents from Cote d'Ivoire Ariel Shaney and DJ Kerozen. In this way the 27-year-old singer demonstrated his dominion over the artists of Cote d'Ivoire. In 2016 he won the same award at the expense of Shado Chris and Josey.

He is ranked among the 100 most influential young people in Africa in 2018 from 26 African African Youth Awards. Sidiky Diabate, the prince of Cora, was the only Malian in the rankings.

At the first edition of the International Prize for Urban Music and Offbeat Coupé (PRIMUD), the child of virtuoso Dr. Toumani Diabaté was crowned as the best artist of West Africa.

Also in 2018, he is one of the top 10 African singers to follow along with Fally Ipupa, Davido, WizKid, Viviane Chidid …

Designed by a jury of music professionals and journalists, Sidiki Diabate received the Africa Culture Awards 2016 in New York. In 2014, he is the youngest artist in the world nominated for the Grammy Awards with his father for the Toumani & Sidiki album.
