The New York Stock Exchange ended sharply on Tuesday, led by a compromise between the two sides of Congress to avoid blocking federal administrations and hoping to see the end of the US-China talks.
The Dow Jones index gained 372.45 points, or 1.49%, to 25 425.56.
The broad S & P-500 took 34.88 points, or 1.29%, to 2 744.68.
The Nasdaq Composite advanced by 104.77 points (1.43%) to 7,412.67.
