Villa Sanyo does not really understand Paris Saint-Germain's strategy with Leandro Paredes being recruited during the winter Mercato.
In this January, and more generally than last summer, the club of the capital was looking for a new defense midfielder. Thomas Tuhel will be successful as PSG will hire Leandro Paredes. The 24-year-old is preparing to sign a contract for four and a half years in Paris after a successful visit to Qatar on Friday. In order to provide services to the Zenith St Petersburg environment, PSG will therefore pay 40 million euros, plus 7 million potential bonuses. A big investment, especially since the Paris formation is under threat of UEFA's financial fair play, which Ville Sanyol does not endorse so much.
"I do not know exactly what profile he was looking for, but Paredes is between Veratti and Pastor, even if he plays in defense, he will not scratch the ball, he is in a collective recovery …", commented RMC, the consultant who believes the PSG is wrong with the raw material by appointing an offensive midfielder turned into a watchman. But this more defensive profile, so desirable, could have landed before the end of the transfer window, as Paris continued to negotiate with Idrisa Gue (Everton).
