Since last night, Thierry Henry has no first AC team in Monaco. The converted striker has only three months at the helm of his training club. The story could have been much more beautiful, but nothing happened as expected and the Frenchman finally gave up on his seat as Leonardo Jardim, who lost him in favor of the best scorer in the history of the French team. In social media, Henry was keen to send a message to the supporters of the Assyrites.
"With great sadness I leave AC Monaco. Despite the difficulties we encountered during this adventure, I enjoyed these duties in this wonderful club. From the very beginning, my philosophy and my ambition always made me put the club at the forefront. I believe strongly in these players and in the fact that the team, with their latest reinforcements, is already ready to face the second part of the season, to sort the series of good results and reach its potential. I would especially like to thank Vadim Vassilev and Michael Emelalo, who offered me this opportunity at my training club and of course both for the fans and for the staff who gave me a warm welcome during this period. I sincerely hope that my successor will bring the team out of this situation. I wish everyone the best for the future, starting with success in Dijon, then why not win the Cup to make us a European club again! #DAGHEMUNEGU "
