The unexpected opening of Wall Street scholarships following Citigroup results

The New York Stock Exchange fluctuates at the beginning of trading on Monday after opening records for the three major indexes, with growth being limited by the unfavorable results of Citigroup, which opens the ball to second-quarter results.

The Dow Jones index is 3.22 points, or 0.01%, to 27,328.81 points, after registering the highest value of 27,364.69 at the discovery.

Standard & Poor's 500, broader, declined by 0.03% to 3,012.99 points after opening 3,017.80, a record high.

Nasdaq Composite took its share of 0.20% to 8,260.61 points of discovery.

Citigroup declined by 1.17% at the start of trading, despite quarterly earnings above expectations, a drop in spending and a strong demand for consumer credit, which offset the weakness of its trading business.

The results of JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo are on Tuesday.

According to IBES Refinitiv, the profits of the companies composing the S & P 500 are expected to fall by an average of 0.4%, which will be the first quarter down in three years.

Symantec declined by 13.92% and Broadcom rose by 3.01%. According to CNBC, talks on Broadcom's acquisition of Symantec have failed, with the cybersecurity specialist denying a price of less than $ 28 per share.

Boeing sells 0.98%, while the Wall Street Journal understands that the 737 MAX, set up by mid-March, will not resume work before 2020.

In terms of indicators, production activity in the New York region has risen sharply than expected in July after it was halted last month, according to a monthly study by the Federal Reserve branch office.
