DAKAR, July 15 (APS) – The head of state has decided to give up his trip to Cairo for the CAN final, after reminding God of Usamane, Tanor Dieng, chair of the Supreme Council of Territorial Communities, RTS reported.

The leader of the Socialist Party (PS) and the chairman of the High Council of Local Authorities (UVAC), Usamane Tanor Dingg, died of illness Monday in France, the APS said.

The Senegal team will play their second African Nations Cup (CAN) final on Friday against Algeria in Cairo.
