Those who have faced this disease will be able to obtain useful information about therapy and reduce the risk of damage. In the Serbian Pharmacy Chamber, which initiated this action, they stated that the consequences of the explosive increase in the number of sick people were a great burden both for individuals and for the entire health system of each state. Plum? According to data from the Institute of Public Health "Dr. Milan Jovanovic Batut", about 12% of the adult population has diabetes in Serbia, about eight percent are treated, while four percent of patients do not have a diagnosis, and therefore there is no medical assistance.

– During the week, pharmacies that support actions will participate in systematic screening for all people over 45 years. The aim is, as a pharmacist, to contribute to the prevention and delay of the onset of disease, by detecting patients with preybetes – say in the Serbian Pharmacy Room.
