On the occasion of commemorating the death of Patriarch Pavle, a monument to the former head of the Serbian Orthodox Church will be revealed on Thursday.
This monument will be inaugurated on the plateau in front of St. Mark's Church, and on the initiative of the City of Belgrade and with the blessing of the Serbian patriarch Irinej, Mayor Goran Vesic announced in his Facebook vice mayor Goran Vesic.
The monument is the work of sculptor Zoran Males.
Nine years ago, November 15, Patriarch Pavle died in Belgrade in 95.
The supreme leader of the Serbian Orthodox Church dates from 1990 to 2009.
