Social insurance increases the volume of electronic communication

BRATISLAVA, November 18 ( – Social Security Communication (SP) develops through electronic mailboxes. SP spokesman Peter Višváder said.
If from January to the end of last October, the insurance company headquarters received 106,940 electronic shipments and sent them 66,186, this year the number of letters sent via electronic mailboxes more than doubled and the number sent more than three times.
"From January to October this year, the Social Security Company headquarters through an electronic mailbox received 232,444 shipments and sent 213,636 shipments," said the insurance company.

Citizen card with chips

According to his spokesman, the social insurance company fulfills questions from the insured, or police identity insurance with police pieces must be reported by the insurance company.
"This is not the case, even though this ID card is used to register at the portal and enter the electronic mailbox, where citizens can communicate with Social Insurance Companies. This ID card equipment (called eID card) does not require Social Insurance Companies report, "Vishvader warned.

Paper communication

If a citizen has an active electronic mailbox, the Social Insurance Company communicates with him electronically.
If the electronic mailbox is not activated for shipping, even if it has a citizen card with a chip, the Social Insurance Company cannot communicate with it through an electronic mailbox and communicate in paper form.
"Social insurance companies always check whether the entity has an active electronic mailbox, and if it is active, it will send it electronically," said an insurance company spokesman.
