According to Radio Slovenia, the state will increase the lower limit of unemployment benefit from 350 to 530 euros, which can also be reduced in case of possible violations. Recovery is yours if you have been insured for at least nine months in the last two years, or at least six months before the start of unemployment if you are under 30 years of age. The maximum delivery time is expected to be reduced from 25 to 19 months.
The social partners will discuss changes in labor law and pension legislation at an extraordinary meeting of the Economic and Social Council on Friday. This will be followed by a public debate and a new round of negotiations in the autumn. New labor and pension legislation is expected to be introduced to the new year.
One of the points for which the social partners must have agreed is to increase the minimum financial compensation.
