Three-year-olds and 49-year-olds can be vaccinated free of penile meningoencephalitis.

Kranj The expanded vaccination program this year introduces free vaccination against meningoencephalitis tick (KME) for two age groups: three-year-old and 49-year-old. This vaccine, funded by the Slovenian Health Insurance Institute, was born in 2016 by children born in 1970. The vaccine is available and vaccinations are carried out by selected GPs and pediatricians, reports from the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

As explained by epidemiologist Martha Grigley Wittek of NHSH, MSME in Slovenia is a very common illness, the incidence rate is among the highest in Europe, and it has been suggested that health councils years ago be vaccinated against compulsory health insurance. This year, means have been provided to vaccinate the two generations. Adults at the age of 49 are selected because the incidence of CML in Slovenia is the highest in the age group 5564, meaning that adult vaccination should be elderly before the highest incidence occurs. In children, the course of the disease is mostly black, but due to their long-term consequences, the severity of the disease is high for them, so the program also includes a generation of children. The three-year-olds are selected because there is also a systematic review of that age at which no other vaccination is performed.

The insurance covers three doses of the main vaccine that the vaccine receives within one year. Dose dosages are required to maintain cough, which are self-contained. The first dose should be taken for three years, then for five years, and for adults – for fifty to three years.

Each year, a new generation of trillers and 49-year-olds will be included in the vaccination program, with an increasing number of Slovenes reaching the CME gradually, they stressed in the NRIC. Individuals of these age groups who have been vaccinated against CML are eligible for the next three doses of the vaccine (baseline or drug).
