This year marks the 21st anniversary of the transfer of Hong Kong sovereignty to mainland China, and second, Taiwan's mainland office said in a written statement that the continent will continue to adhere to the principle of "peaceful reunification, one country, two systems "and will encourage the process of unification of the two countries. Will fully consider the reality of Taiwan.

On March 1st, MAK said the continent should respect the right of Hong Kong people to rule Hong Kong and said Taiwan's public opinion never accepted the proposal of "one state, two systems." Any suggestion from two or two systems against Taiwan will only provoke dislike to the Taiwanese people. It also does not contribute to the stable development of relations between them.

As for the statement of the Mainland Council, the Taiwan Office responded in the form of a written question from An Fengshan the evening of the second, stating that "one country, two systems" is the best solution for the Hong Kong issue and the best for long-term prosperity and stability after Hong Kong's return. The system, "GMP authorities ignore the facts, confuse them, deliberately discredit Hong Kong from one country, two systems, and undermine the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong, and we firmly oppose it."

One fanskan said the mainland would continue to stick to the principle of "peaceful unity, one country, two systems" and would promote peaceful development and the unification of relations between them. At the same time, one country's specific implementation, two systems in Taiwan will fully address Taiwan's reality and will completely absorb the views and proposals from different sides of the Strait. I believe this is an agreement that can fully take care of the interests of the Taiwanese compatriots.
