Possible return of striker Mandzukic to Bayern Munich

Croatian Playfuls Team striker Mario Mandzukic, who defends Juventus' colors, may return to his former club Bayern Munich in the last seven seasons, German and Italian media reported on Thursday.

German newspaper Kicker followed the example of Italian counterpart Gazeta Dello Sport after hinting at a possible return.

The Croatian striker, who won the 2018 FIFA World Cup runners-up RussiaTM (defeats France 2-4), defended Bayern Munich between 2012 and 2014 and led him to several titles, including the 2013 Champions League and league title in 2013 and 2014, the Club World Cup (2013).

Manjukic, 33, played under the supervision of his compatriot Kovac, the current coach of Bayern, when the latter was the coach of the Croatian team between 2013 and 2015 and played at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
