UAE and Oman end the military exercise "Cooperation 2"



Sharjah –

A two-week joint study between the UAE Ground Forces and the Royal Army of Oman was concluded Wednesday in the UAE within the framework of co-operation, coordination and exchange of military expertise and information.

On the last day of the training, Major General Saleh Mohammed Saleh Majran Al-Amer, commander of the Forces, and Major General Matar bin Salim bin Rashid al-Balushi, commanding the Royal Army.

The exercise, part of the joint teachings with the Oman Sultanate, is to carry out a number of training tasks with the Royal Army of Oman in order to develop a joint work between the two countries in the light of the current challenges in the region and to strengthen military cooperative relations between armed forces.

Major General Saleh Mohammed Saleh Majran Al-Amery explained that Co-operation 2 is an important exercise in the region to develop and strengthen military co-operation between the UAE Land Forces and the Royal Army of Oman.
