Huawei set the date for submission of his folding smartphone

Huawei set the date for submission of his folding smartphone New surprising users.

Huawei will show its foldable smartphone at MWC 2019, a little later than Samsung, Chronicle.info reported, citing informator.news.

If you are considering an advertising poster, the presentation will take place on February 24 at 14:00 local time.

Earlier, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Richard Ju, has explicitly confirmed that the company will show its own folding smartphone at MWC 2019 in the last week of February. Samsung's open call with the long-awaited Galaxy Fold. And on February 1, the Chinese company published an official announcement of its event on February 24th.

When it comes to folding handsets, there are two options – either a device that folds the display inside, such as a laptop, or a device that folds the screen. Under the patent image of the new Huawei smartphone is depicted a device, which, unlike Samsung Galaxy Fold, is shaped externally.

Experts note that such an option would create a much cleaner device that could potentially have a dual-screen mode with new ways of interacting.

According to internal people, Samsung really wanted to make a phone that folds but could not prepare it for this year. The reason is that external bends create a heavy load on the display as it has to stretch several times exactly at the point of bending. Instead, Samsung chose a device that folds like a laptop. It turns out that Huawei can jump Samsung right from the start.

Previous rumors have given Huawei a 7.56-inch flexible display made of BOE that can withstand more than 100,000 bending and unfolding cycles. There should be no additional screen for the Huawei foldable smartphone. Perhaps the device will get a flagship chipset brand, 10/12 GB of RAM and support for 5G high-speed mobile internet.
