JAMIE CARRAGHER argues that Nicolas Geno Kante is a "very average player" when he is forced to play the position of Chelsea chief Maurizio Sarri.
Keynes is on the right side of three Chelsea matches for most of the season, with 57 million pounds signed with Jorginho in the heart of Sarrie's 4-3-3, at his expense.
Blues employees were conquered by Spurs on Saturday at Wembley, and since then Sarrie has fallen under the fire to play the World Cup winner from his favorite central midfield position.
And Carragher believes that 27-year-old Kante is completely lost to Sari at the moment.
He said: "Joringo does not move from this position, he is Sarry's man and builds the system around him.
"Kante does not move because he will sign a massive contract.
"Jorgineo is excellent this season – they have to change their system and their style sometimes to counteract it, which shows how good the player is.
"Bypassing people like Dele Alli or Gylfi Sigurdsson last week, it means there should be room for other players.
"Against Spurs the space was wide, so we wanted to see more of Hazard, Willian and perhaps the full backs.
"Kante is a very good player in the position he is playing now – just seeing a normal midfield player.
"When playing in my natural position, I see a world class player."
Speaking of football on Monday night, Liverpool's former defender called on Sarrie to change his tactics to get the best out of Kante and Giorgino.
The player from former Napoli was overloaded and exploited in the middle of the park against Spurs.
And Carragher believes the move to 4-2-3-1 is the only chance for Sari to get the best of both.
He added, "I never think that this half-defense equilibrium always looks pretty good with Kovac.
"I think that's quite simple – and I do not know if Sarrie stays at 4-3-3 all the time – playing Kante and Joringo as an average of two.
"And then with Ross Barkley or Willian in the role of number 10 in more than 4-2-3-1.
"In Liverpool we had a player like Jorginho in Xabi Alonso and the teams tried to stop him.
"Together with him for one or two seasons we had Momo Sissoko, whose job was not to touch the ball and play, we had to be aggressive.
"Cante is better than Sisko's ball, so there are two players in Chelsea who can get the ball.
"Cante returns to his best position and can ease a little pressure on Jorginho, with two players wanting to get the ball and make Chelsea play."
Former Spurs and Newcastle players David Ginola were in Sky Sports at Burnley in Newcastle along with Carragher.
And the fake Frenchman thinks Sarry is totally wrong when he plays his compatriot on the right side of the midfield.
He said Kahn had to talk to Sarry about the situation, but he thinks he's too modest in nature to get hot.
"There was an incredible World Cup – we do not talk a lot about Cante because it's very modest, very modest and I love it because if you take it from the French team they do not look the same at all,
"This position in the middle of modern football is a key position.
"He will bring the ball back, position everyone and be the first to pass the ball forward.
"That's why Chelsea is wrong for me to play Kante in this position, they're wrong.
"If the manager asks him to play on the right, I do not see him saying that he prefers to play in the center.
"He has to have a conversation, but he is not in his personality to say something. He is a player he wants to play."
