The Deputy Chancellor stands aside under the Swansea University probe
Swansea University has suspended its deputy chancellor, officials said.
Professor Richard B. Davis, who has been in the university since 2003, stands aside for an internal investigation.
The Dean of the School of Management, Professor Mark Clement, has also been suspended.
Professor Davies, who was raised in West Wales, studied engineering at Cambridge before receiving a doctorate from Bristol University.
Professor Clement, born in Llanelli, has several senior academic positions and was appointed Dean of the Management School in 2015.
A university spokesman said: "We can confirm that Deputy Chancellor Professor Richard B. Davis and Professor Mark Clement have been suspended until the results of an internal investigation.
