Christian Meyer will play the famous Colombian police general Oscar Naranho, who devoted his life to the fight against drug trafficking and guerrilla warfare in his country, in a new series of fox : "El General Naranjo".
Based on real events, El General Naranjo will revolve around the tireless and successful intelligence work of young police officer Oscar Naranjo, who has ended the dominance of drug trafficker Pablo Escobar as well as negotiating peace talks with FARC,
The ambitious production led by the Peruvian actor will include Juliana Galvis and Julian Roman, along with Diego Kadavid, Vina Machado, Federico Rivera, and Cora Lora Ramos.
"With this proposal, we have strengthened our company's commitment to generate more local stories that are more relevant to each region. General Naranjo marks a milestone in the company's original productions: it allows our fans to understand the Colombian conflict of drug trafficking through different angles of this reality, "says Mariana Perez, head of general production.
The series, directed by Diego Megie and Jose Botero ("Afternoon when I met him"), will feature 60 episodes, divided into three seasons, shot for the first time ever in four Colombian cities : Bogotta, Cali, Medellin and Girardo.
"El General Naranjo" will be broadcast every Friday from May 24 at 9:00. for the Fox Premium Series channel and 13 first season episodes will be available in Fox App on Friday for FOX Premium subscribers in Peru.
This will be the 35-year history of the Colombian conflict, counted from the men of the law who fought, in which General Naranjo lost his best friends and managed to survive all the attacks he was trying to eliminate.
