Gilberto Santa Rosa is a Puerto Rican salsa singer. He was nicknamed "The Caballero de la Salsa". Besides the tropical genre, he plays romantic ballads. He was the son of the first IBM technical engineer and computer operator on the island.

Singer Gilberto Santa Rosa, on his way through the 2018 Latin Grammy Awards red carpet, took the opportunity to ask God for Venezuela to emerge from the strong crisis that crosses.

In an interview, the salsa man explained what Venezuela meant to him.
"For me, it is a country that I admire and I am very grateful. This is my first international place, where they first opened the door for me in Venezuela," he said.
In addition, Gilberto Santa Rosa highlighted how grateful he was with Venezuelans and foreigners for the sadness he felt for the crisis the country was experiencing.
"I thank you very much, every day I wake up praying for you" refers to requests that you make for the country to get out of the situation it faces.
