Myrna Palmar, the mother of one of the children affected by the virus who is in Maracaibo Children's Hospital II, stressed that her son has days of muscle aches and diarrhea.

The disease is transmitted by white legs, the same that transmits zika, dengue and chikungunya. The specialist pointed out that the first symptoms started to appear three days after the sugar.

"The Mayaro virus appears to be dengue bean, that is, it causes fever, rash, including diarrhea, vomiting, nasal mucus, cough, dizziness and osteoarthritic pain are the most important and may even last three to six months, this distinguishes this virus, the epidemiologist said.
