About the case

Micron and some of its executives are accused of not disclosing essential information during the class period, violating federal securities laws.

On May 15, 2018, the Chinese State Market Administration (SAMR) informed the company of the investigation into the anticompetitive behavior of electronic microchip providers. On November 19, 2018, media reports revealed that SAMR had "gathered" massive evidence of anti-competitive behavior "by Micron in a plot to fix prices with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

With this news, Micron's stock price dropped by more than 7%.
