Disney retains the stand-alone streaming service of FX Networks

The current season of the FX show will continue to be broadcast on its regular channels and will be available for viewing on demand in the FXNow app and on the FXNetworks website for a limited time with authentication of pay-TV subscribers. Those who do not have access to a cable subscription should not worry because Disney plans to distribute the network show via Hulu.

Disney took full control of Hulu in May by providing the service with the resources to develop more original programming. The Mouse House also prepares to launch Disney +, but will mostly serve as the home of family-oriented programming. His adult-oriented shows will go to Hulu. According to diversityFX Chief Executive Officer John Landgrass acknowledged during a May event that the network does not have enough large programs to support its own streaming service. He said Hulu would give FX the opportunity to offer its ads without ads as part of a larger service and it's "really exciting" about it.
