Every few weeks, Google updates your ARCore support list with new devices. This time, Google added two new LG flagship phones – G8 and V50 – as well as four iPad models and iPhone XR.
No more noise, here are the new additions:
- LG G8 ThinQ
- LG V50 ThinQ
- Apple iPhone XR
- Apple iPad Air Third Generation
- Apple iPad mini 5th generation
- Apple 12.9-inch. iPad Pro (3rd Generation)
- Apple 11-in. iPad Pro
Not surprisingly, LG's latest flagship companies are making the list. As for iOS, XS and XS Max devices were already supported, so adding XR surrounds ARCore for the current iPhone version. Those of you with the newer iPads will be pleased to see that there are already ten on the list.
Much of this list of ARCore support is just a confirmation of what we already knew (or at least we could accept). And it should not be a surprise for anyone who has the result that the latest Google Pixel phones join these famous rows. However, to be completed, welcome the latest ARCore phones:
- Google Pixel 3a
- Google Pixel 3a XL
We talked only about all these obvious additions to Google's ARCore lists – as when a new flagship is released, it's pretty sure we'll see it sooner or later. But there is an exception that proves the rule, and this is something we have with the last two phones confirmed for ARCore support:
- General Mobile GM 9 Plus
- Sharp AQUOS R3
